Affiliate Marketing is, in my opinion, a really low cost way to earn money online but there are some misconceptions.
It is not a quick way to make money. It takes time and focus. You need to make sure that every action you take is the correct one. That all of your links work and take a potential buyer to the right place.
You need to be aware that the money is actually in the follow-up. So when someone clicks on your link, you really need to be ensuring they give you their email address so that you can build a relationship with them and subsequently try to sell them more products.
Choosing the right affiliations is also paramount. Don’t expect everyone who clicks on a link will buy. Having popular products may give you better returns. You need to do your research.
Don’t expect to be able to do this for free either. There are tools you’ll need and to grow your affiliate marketing business. These include using an autoresponder, tracking tools, landing pages and cloaking software to name a few.
But the biggest purchase you’ll need to make is traffic! People forget that they need to drive their potential buyers to their offers.
You can do this by social media ads, solo ads, Google Ads etc.
Just remember you’ll need a budget.
So my advice to you is to find a way to shorten your learning curve. I recommend getting some training from someone who is reputable and who has earned from Affiliate Marketing in a big way.
My favourite is this training Partner with Anthony
He guides you step by step with daily actions that show you how to build your business. It comes highly recommended. I have been through the course myself!
Whether you are just starting out or have experience in affiliate marketing, I know you’ll learn a huge amount.
